Rajashekaram and Lalitha are ideal couple. Rajasekharam’s friend Gopalam is distressed about his daughter Rekha, who is a headstrong girl and is against marriage. She is pampered by Gopalam’s brother, Major Narasimham, who brings her up. Rickshaw puller Kistayya who regularly commutes her to her college loves Rekha. But does not dare express it.  

To convince Rekha for a marriage, Raja Shekaram & Lalitha land at Hyderabad and act as unmarried individuals. But unexpectedly like a storm, a woman Radha arrives in Rajasekharam’s life, claiming him with all evidence as her husband. All plans go for a toss. 

What happens to their love, and how does Rajasekharam come out of this mess, and how Rekha reciprocates rickshaw puller Kistayya’s love forms the rest of the story.
